Let your students help design and implement the bulletin boards.
They come up with many great ideas. Here's a few ideas we've come
up with.
- Start with
a world map. Use faces from the different countries and have
the students write up prayer needs for each country. Put the
faces and prayer needs together. Use yarn to connect the faces
and prayer needs to the actual country on the map.
- Make a giant
collage of world flags. Title it, Flags of the World. Have
a prize for the student who can identify the most flags.
- Pick one
of the countries your students are studying. On one half of
the bulletin board, construct a typical dwelling out of construction
paper. On the other half construct a typical North American
home. The contrast may surprise your students. Use the bulletin
board as a springboard for a discussion of what are basic needs
and what are luxuries.
- Prayer,
Our Gift to the 10/40 Window bulletin board.
If you have any
great ideas to add to this list, please email
us. |
